Sheikh Israr Ahmad who also known as “Ahmad Sheikh” was born in Karachi Pakistan on 22 December 1925. He was the founder of Islam watchers. After graduation from madrasa of his town he took license as a self learned scholar in the year 1954 in the name of Islam Gharb-e-Hind, he was attacked by the Pakistani government, his brother was arrested. Sheikh Israr Ahmad worked for free education for religious people from eight years of age to death. He was a great scholar and Hadith scholar. From 1952 to 1955 he acquired M.A degrees in both subjects.
Mahmood Ahmad (established as a second mahfil in Israr Ahmed’s name in 1994) is a Sufi Da’ee. He wrote the book Hayat e Islam. Haqeeqat e Islam (harar yaridun). Taha al-Ruffiya(Hawwa al-awwal). Bhaleeqa al-Eesa (Girisht al-Athura). It was the first time in history of Pakistan that a Da’ee did such type of work. Due to israr Ahmed’s death in 1993, some of the publications of mahmoodaam including, “Hayate Islam,” “Danesh” and “Ilm series” have been put aside for publication. The publisher has commissioned some of these publications for the third edition, which were to be published after the death of mahmoodaam, to be completed by the scholars of India and Pakistan.
Bayan-ul-Quran was the first book written by Sheikh Israr Ahmed after the madressah Wadhish was established in 1975. It was named as Bayan-ul-Quran due to it was written during the time of the khalifa of Allamah Hassan al-Turabi, the main reader of the book was Amir Hamza al-Mana, then Amin al-Husseini and Amin al-Zawahiri. Beside the book, the organizer of the madressah was a non-Muslim and was previously followed Christianity and Islam.
